HI CC, ok I was recently approached to make a keyboard cake for a grooms cake, my question is how much should I charge, because I've never done anything like this plus I don't know how much work/detail that will go into this??? I will be making a 3/4 sheet cake since they already have a wedding cake, THANKS GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!

It's going to be a lot of work. What size cake? 3/4 of a full sheet cake?

I have one in my photos that I did last year. I considered it to be a 2-D cake and charged likewise. I think it started as a 1/2 sheet but I wanted it longer and narrower to I cut and moved cake to where I needed it. the groom wouldn't let them cut it.

Depending on where the reception is, if you aren't licensed, you might want to check with them and see if a cake can be brought in from an unlicensed baker.
