I have to make a 9X13 cake topped with chocolate dipped strawberries, due Friday morning. My question is: Will it be okay to dip the strawberries the night before and place on cake? If so does the cake need to be refrigerated?
PS: This is my first try at one of these cakes.
It should be ok if you do it late. They are best to do as soon as you can to delivery though. Don't pierce them in any way. They weep easily as it is and yes I would refrigerate the cake. GL!
