I am going to be working on a package to send to my CA delegates and would like some help from you.

Can you PM I would like to give you my e-mail address for the following:

I would like to collect letters from other decorators that are allowed in their state to have a legal home cake decorating business.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. I want them to see how it benefits you and your community - local insurance companies, supplies, etc.. Also, how you feel about having your OWN business.

Thanks
Leana

Here is an easy to read link to the rules in Iowa - where home baking is legal - it at least would give you some basic language to provide to lawmakers. Notice specifically the "exempt from licensing" section. Essentially if you are dealing with non-perishable food sold directly to consumers (not to stores, restaurants, etc) - you do not need license, inspections, etc in Iowa to bake from home.

Good Luck
