My daughter is a Graphic Designer & I asked her what are the "tools of the trade". She said basically all they use is their imagination, a computer & a mouse. Maybe some type of cake that shaped as a computer??

I am a graphic designer. I could NOT live without my tablet and stylus.
Wacom is the industry standard - http://www.wacom.com/intuos/ Most use an Intuos...

Not sure if that's the route you want to for, but that is the tools of my trade icon_smile.gif

Ask her mom/family if she has developed a favorite graphic or pattern you could use in the cake. I'm a lover of simple graphics and patterns and using those in my cake designs, so maybe she has a graphic she has created that she loves/is proud of, that you can use for inspiration on her b-day cake...it would be a great sense of accomplishment for her to see it on the day she is celebrating her life!...which is what b-days are about...celebrating life! icon_smile.gif

Good luck!
