I first saw this a couple of years ago when it was an "awful link of the day" on a site I visit. The story, as I understand it, is that they got a web designer to make them a nice, classy site, but they didn't want to pay so he changed it to this monstrosity. If you use archive.org, you can see that the layout used to be normal. Either way, it's a hell of a trip. Remember, don't rip off web designers!
My youngest daughter is always saying, "Never pi$$ off the people who handle your food!" I'll have to tell her to add in web designers, too!

"archive.org" - that's pretty cool that you can see the old layout of sites!
wow my eyes hurt i didn't know were to look first to see what they were even trying to sell that's a good way to have no business.
my eyeballs just threw up
hahaha!
My gosh! My mom will get a laugh out of this...she designes web pages for a living!
I have to say that this is my new favorite website. Has anyone followed some of the links? The one that paints your portrait has a link to pictures of the painter's apartment, including his microwave and his fridge. And his Neat Lamp (his words).
I just had an epiphany...This totally reminds me of these people I know who are all slacker/hippie wannabees in southern Alabama. They live in an "artsy" town and I've seen plenty of "art" that looks like the website art when I'm there. It's a combination of aging hippies/lazyasses. I didn't make the connection until now, but it totally fits.

I'm with you. This is one of the more fascinating websites I've been to (once I adjust the color settings on my monitor). The links are great!

Good Site! They were still really ODD to begin with:

While it looks pretty, it still mentions they sell Bridal Gowns, along with Invitations, MaryKay and "Suddenly Slim!"... what is their idea of their core business? A bride's one stop shop? - if only they had a bakery right on site!
And my real question, what is the deal with the woman on her cell phone smoking a cigarette? I mean really...

I'm pretty sure THAT'S Yvette.
Wow...I think that this page on the website pretty much explains it all. You have to read the whole thing, though, don't give up halfway through!

I really find this website fascinating! My son is loving it, too. He wants to go into an information technology program in high school, and I told him this could be a case study.
Um. Wow. There is NO END! It literally goes on forever. No matter what you click on, it never ends! What's with the portrait painter?! The Glamorous high fashion models?! Cruise Wear! Red Hats! Friends and Happiness Poem! Pageant Gowns!
It's kind of hard to stop looking...........
That should be illegal......seriously, whoever created that must be smokin crack! Now I gotta go take some tylenol!
Brilliant!!!! After agreeing with the eyeballs throwing up and seizure symptoms, I have come to the conclusion that Yvette has found her niche in grassroots website advertising...word of "mouth!" (er, internet actually.)
Well done!! I bet she generated MORE business than turned it away for simple curiosity's sake. (a certain clientele of brides that is)
However, I am not brave enough to soldier through all of those links. I need to lie down.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They sell red hats!!!! That's why I would shop there, because I can get them on lay-away!

Be careful when opening it my virus software flagged it as potentially harmful. Im sure it is not referring to this god aweful design either.
I'm gonna see spots all day now!
