Okay - this is probably stupid (and probably answered elsewhere but I can never get my search function to go past the first page)

I have made MFF (love it btw!!) and want to add some gum tex to just a portion of it to make a plaque. Do I add the gum tex dry, or mix with something before I knead it into the MFF? How do I go about it. I don't need to add it to very much. The plaque isn't huge, but it does need to be sturdy. Tylose isn't readily available or I would've tried that (since it seems to work better according to those who have tried it!).

TIA!!!

Alyssa

You add the gum tex to it in powder form and just kneed it.

If I am making a small amount I will take the amount of fondant I am using and just dip it into the powder, kneed, then add more until I get it to the point I want it.
