I am making a fondant iced cake with fresh strawberry filling. I know its not recommened to put the fondant cake in the fridge but will the fresh strawberry filling last over night at room temp. i dont want to cut into the cake the day of the party and the strawberries are rotten or something...lol HELP!!!

I just made a cake with ganache in the middle of the layers. I covered it with fondant and put it in the fridge and it turned out fine. Good Luck!

I put Michelle Foster's fondant in my fridge all the time, just don't cover it and it is absolutely fine. The problem with condensation happens when you cover the fondant (plastic wrap, foil, etc).
