Hey everyone! im doing a cake as my final for school and i am doing my bowling lane...my question is what kind of icing should i use for the pin and ball? i am doing it with rice krispy treat and i did a dry run and it came out great...but i dont know what to ice it with. my teacher said royal icing might be best but im unsure. im not good with fondant and i dont have the money to spend on it right now. any ideas?

You can make MMF which is much cheaper then ready made fondant. There are recipes on this site.
