Anyone else feel like they get the most wonderfully inspired ideas for how to give their cakes exactly what they need, AFTER you've already taken the stupid thing to the party and cut into it? My husband was just cropping my photo of and Indiana Jones cake I made for a family friend today to post it, and I suddenly knew exactly how I SHOULD HAVE made the vines and leaves, and had a stroke of genius for the temple's decorations. Sure. But nobody'll believe me now, because the thing's been demolished for hours now.

Anyhow! Maybe one day my genius will catch on to what my actual schedule (not to mention my party invitation) dictates. In the meantime, I'llhave to settle for being a Closet Cake Genius.
