I normally try to do most of my decorating the day of serving the cake, but that won't be possible this time. I'd like to have the cake mostly decorated the night before. The cake will have buttercream icing with fondant accents. Is it okay to refrigerate with the fondant on it?

thanks!

I am not sure what you are supposed to do, but I have refrigerated a bc w/ fondant decorations overnight. The only time I had a problem was with black decorations on white bc. The color leached out of the black and left a purple shadow around the decorations.

Thanks for letting me know...I will be using some black fondant accents, so better not put those on the night before!
