Fixing Elephant Skin After The Fact???? Need Help Asap!!

Is there any way to fix the elephant skin after the fact? Can I fill it in with royal ???Is that crazy. icon_rolleyes.gif

Any more tips to prevnet it too? I use satin ice.

I don't know how bad your situation is, but yes, a bit of shortening will help, however, be aware, it will also make it look shiny in that spot, so you could end up needing to do it sort of all over...depending on how large an area you are having a problem with. If it 's too large? I'd take it off and do it over.

Royal Icing would also help, but... if it's really bad and you want it to look flawless, you should consider removing the fondant and starting over.
