Help! I have a wedding cake to make for an elderly couple. My customer wants a praline liqueur flavored yellow cake like she had at her daughter's wedding years ago. She's pretty set on that flavor. I do not have a recipe. How much liqueur would I add to a simple yellow box mix? Would I need to use less water? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Now if I am adding the praline liqueur would I still add the almond and vanilla flavoring??? Also could I use yellow cake mixes instead of white. My customer wants "yellow" cake (icon_rolleyes.gif)
Thanks for the help!

I have an amaretto cake recipe- i don't know if it is the same. You can't really taste the amaretto- I made it last night for a get together and everyone loved it!

2/3 c oil
2 c sugar
4 eggs
3/4 c orange juice
1/4 c vodka
1/4 c amaretto
2 c flour
1 pkg vanilla pudding mix
2 tsp baking powder
