Cupcake Help!

Yesterday I made some cupcakes then the next day frosted them and there were crumbs in my frosting. And the cupcakes were vary moist. Should i have cooked them longer? I used a box mix. any advice would be great

If there are crumbs in your frosting, it's not a baking issue.

To prevent crumbs in your frosting:

1. make sure that your frosting ISN"T of stiff consistency

2. never lift your spatula "up and off" the surface of the cupcake/cake
(You'll pull surface pieces of cupcake/cake off.)

3. Start with a gob of frosting in the center of the cuppy and work outward.
