A friend of mine is making about 3 dozen cupcakes for a wedding shower and wanted to know if there is a way to make the buttercream icing look pearlized w/ out having to dust each cupcake individually. Can anyone help???
PME makes a pearlized luster spray. You can purchase it from many dealers online unless there is some place close that carries it. Here's links to a couple of sites.

or if she has an airbrush, they make pearlized sheen for airbrushing.

PME as mentioned has a wonderful spray and smells like heaven also...I use my airbrush with pearl liquid.
The PME spray does smell AWESOME! Every time I give somebody a cake that has been sprayed with it they always say something about how great the cake smells before they even cut it.
