So I got a request for cupcakes from a client they are looking for:

"chic Manhatten lounge in the winter theme . All shades of cool blues with silver and white, but nothing overtly winter like snowflakes or anything: Just chic, urban, and mod. "

Any ideas, I don't know where to start

The first thing that came to mind is the circles design that is really popular now. Here's a link to a cake with the design. You'd just need to modify the design for size and color:

Another idea would be to make some kind of mosaic design out of different shades of blue fondant tiles.
