Hello,

I want to make a cake with fruit filling but I dont want to wait for the sleeves to ship at the moment...My family owns a Shipley's Do Nuts and I was wondering if the filling that they fill the donuts with would be any good in a cake? Has anyone tried this?

Thanks!
Natalie

Never tried it , but I don't see why it would'nt work.
Might be a bit on the sweet side, but hey it's cake right.
Give a try and let us know.
Good Luck

Not tried it but the donut fillings used in our local cake shop tastes just like the sleeve fillings (the fruit ones)

I don't see why it wouldn't work either.. now, should you ever find yourself with too many doughnuts, there's a girl in Alabama that would gladly take them off your hands icon_biggrin.gif
