Hello,

I want to make a cake with fruit filling but I dont want to wait for the sleeves to ship at the moment...My family owns a Shipley's Do Nuts and I was wondering if the filling that they fill the donuts with would be any good in a cake? Has anyone tried this?

Never tried it , but I don't see why it would'nt work.
Might be a bit on the sweet side, but hey it's cake right.

Not tried it but the donut fillings used in our local cake shop tastes just like the sleeve fillings (the fruit ones)

I don't see why it wouldn't work either.. now, should you ever find yourself with too many doughnuts, there's a girl in Alabama that would gladly take them off your hands
