My sister, the Bride, is wanting to match the cake to her dress. I have never used lustered dust but hear it talked about. Is this what I need to make champagne buttercream? Maybe ivory coloring with gold dust?

they do have a champagne lustre dust....it may be necessary to try several before getting the color desired...champagne, like ivory, has varying degrees...like any other color, I reckon...

I've actually wondered about this myself. Could you maybe combine just the tiniest bit of copper color with the buttercream to get a champagne color?
