My friend is having a baby shower next weekend and her theme is Old World Maps (????) I have no clue what to do to "match" cupcakes to that. I do have solid brown liners that I plan to use, but she wants yellow cake. I haven't a clue what to do that would be be unique, much less matching.

Can anyone shoot me some thoughts?? I am not real creative and do very basic decorating.

Thanks in advance! I have faith in the CC's!

Kristi

Make and ice the cupcakes with a swirl and make edible image fondant toppers to put on top of the cupcake swirl.

An old world compass of fondant might work as well. I also like myslady idea. If you don't want to do an edible image, you could use tiny printed images of old maps and cut and curl the ends slightly (to look like they've been unrolled) and attach to a toothpick.
Or print out small old maps and using a template cut out cupcake wrappers.
Sorry that's all I've got. Hope it helps.
