If you're just starting out with fondant, I would recommend using the 40% off coupons from either Michaels or Hobby Lobby and purchasing Wilton's.

Since you're not eating it, the taste or lack there of, won't be an issue. But you will get a feel for what properly prepared fondant feels like if/when you decide to make your own.
