I signed up at a wedding website where they charge me £30 a month and each week they send me leads of potential customers that have done a search. Its been over a month now and I haven't found a customer. Has anyone done this? There are also other options such as google. You pay google £250 and they put you on the first page of a search for a year. I cannot do both as it costs too much money. Am I better off cancelling the wedding website and going for google?

You ca get on the first page of google for free with a little leg work. First you need to create a profile so you show up on the location map. Th map shows up BEFORE the search results.

Then you need to optimized your website with key words, links, and relevant content. This process doesn't yield results for a few months as it takes a while for the info to be indexed, but eventually, you will start to see your stats change over time. This also changes as more people click on your site.
