I need a cream cheese bc recipe. I know I can use my own bc recipe, but can I use for the cream cheese flavor? I haven't seen any extracts yet. Has anyone ever made cc bc? TIA![/code]
I just tried a crusting cream cheese recipe this weekend that was awesome--tasted great, crusts and smoothed nicely. I'm not sure where I printed it from, but here it is:
1 8oz. pkg cream cheese
1 cup high ratio shortening (I used Sweetex)
2 lbs powered sugar
1 tsp salt
3-5 tbsp liquid ( I used cream)
Beat the cream cheese and shortening on med until fluffy. Add the PS alternating with liquid until desired consistency.
