Refrigerate A Fondant Cake W/ Fruit Filling?

I'm making a cake w/ raspberry filling, and will be covering it in fondant. I've heard that you shouldn't refrigerate a fondant covered cake. I'm worried about leaving the cake out however, because of the fruit filling? I'm positive someone has had previous experience with this. Any advice you can provide would be appreciated! Thanks!

Maybe you could try cake fillings in sleeves. You can buy them online and they are available in many flavors, including raspberry. They don't need refrigeration.
