Hi I need help I am makeing my FIRST EVER topsy turvy cake and I'm not sure if I should use a certine type of cake? Also if anyone has any helpful tips that would be GREAT!!!!

I find that working with a cake that is more dense works best for me. I have a basic sponge scratch cake I use. On this site, most would probably recommend the original WASC. It is a Dr'd box recipe. I have not tried it with any success but most folk round these parts rave about it! Good luck! Also, it wouldn't hurt to invest in Sugar Shack's Topsy Turvy DVD!
