Hi everyone. I am making a cake using brown chocolate fondant ready made. Can I flavor store ready made fondant, what can I use to flavor it? Can I flavor the white store ready made fondant too and does the flavoring have to be clear, cause not all flavoring come clear?
It would be hard to add very much flavoring without the fondant getting sticky. A flavoring oil might work because it wouldn't take as much. If the flavoring has a color, your fondant will end up colored too.
emulsions also work nicely since they are so strong
I've used a bit of almond with Wilton and it worked well. I'm sure vanilla would be fine too...
