I need to bake some pumpkin WASC cupcakes today and realized I don't have any spice cake mix. Any tips on how to doctor up a white or butter mix to get a similar flavor? I have pumpkin pie spice, but where would I even start trying to figure how much to use??
You can use white cake mix and add 1/2 teaspoon each of cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. I've done that when making pumpkin spice cupcakes and didn't have the spice mix.
I just noticed it put a symbol where it should have said 1/2. Been corrected now!
