I've been fussing for at least 2 months because I need to do some practice cakes, but what would I do with them. Who will eat them? How will I get honest critiques for taste and technique?

Do you think I could remember that my best friends' place of business has never turned down one of my cakes and at least 2 of the women have been extremely honest with their thoughts.

To the OP, I just invested in some really nice cake dummies. I do one side one way and the other side another way. Its good practice and then I am not throwing away tons of cake, just some fondant.
