I'm making pumpkinwaffles tweaked version of Dark Chocolate Rolled Sugar cookies. I could not find espresso powder anywhere what could I substitute for it?
Hot coffee. Make it really strong though. I use it all the time in my chocolate cakes and it really makes the chocolate taste good.

I don't know if there is a Williams-Sonoma near you. If so...they sell it there.
