I am having a difficult time keeping my fondant people standing upright. Could someone please let me in on the "secret" to straight upstanding figures?

I use spaghetti to hold them together but gravity has a way of separating them. I usually do them in several pieces - top and bottom torso, head, & arms. Any suggestions for keeping them balanced and straight is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I use tooth picks on mine.

I use bamboo skewers through my figures and make sure the pointy end extends at least an inch or two beneath the figure's feet. I cover a block of styrofoam with Saran, and then leave the figure stuck in the styro to dry. This helps keeps the figure stable so nothing slides or slips.

Don't know if that was exactly what you were asking, but hope it may help.
