hello everybody.. im kinda new in all this decorating things, i have been doing some for friends and now one of them put me a new challenge.. its a 3 tier baby shower cake..
the thing is that i have never done more than one tier and the last time i try to do a 3D cake it was a disaster.. i was using one of those cake mixes because they wanted chocolate flavor and i guess it was too spongy and end up almost falling to the sides..
please if you guys have any recipe for a good .. yummy..moist chocolate cake that i can stack will be great!!! and also any advice and ideas will be gladdy appreciated!!

your support system is what will tke the weight of ll the tiers.
the cake just needs to support the weight of the decoration - thick bc or fondant is heavy.
i use a victoria sponge, but for carving i prefer something like a maderia sponge or pound cake.
xx
