Can I freeze a cake that is already decorated with butter cream icing? If so how do I prepare it to be frozen and how long will it keep. I have someone who ordered a cake for to early of a date and I thought she might be able to freeze it until the correct data.
Thanks

Box it then wrap the box in PressN Seal wrap and it should be fine. Now if you airbrushed any of the icing it will bead during the defrost and cause spotting, sometimes that is a bad thing sometimes it's a good thing icon_smile.gif. ALSO, If the BC is on too thin however, you do risk it cracking during the defrost process as well.
