i just purchased the wilton trim 'n turn ultra. its a 3" high turn table that locks. its perfect for when you are smoothing your buttercreme frosting and you dont have to hold the turn table with one hand while trying to smooth with the other.
a great investment especially with a 50 (or 40) % coupon.
and it has a rubber mat on top that really holds the cake in place.

Are you talking about the white one with green rubber? I got that one with a 50% coupon shortly after they came out and have never had a problem. I was lucky enough to snap up a Fat Daddio's Pro at a ridiculously low price and love it, but the Wilton one has been good to me so now I use both of them thumbs_up.gif

Oh yes, that one works very well. There are actually plenty of nice things that Witon sells. I love their spatula, smoothers, white rolling pins, tips, formers, basic cutters and tons of other things. I even use their fondant--well to make gumpaste for figures that no one will ever eat.
