Do you guys have any tips for me when putting a silky ribbon around a chocolate fondant covered cake? I am making my first wedding cake and she wants cream colored ribbon wrapped around it. How do you get it to stay on the cake? Will the fondant make the ribbon greasy? Thanks for any help.

It will be fine wrapped around a fondant cake. You could secure to the cake with a few dots of royal icing in the back. Good luck!

Overlap both ends and secure double sided tape.

Just to be safe, I recommend the double-sided tape idea - on my first cake with fondant with satin ribbon, the RI dots bled through.
