I am doing a standing diaper bag this week. Customer wants "yellow cake", but "not pound cake". All the yellow cake recipes I have tried so far are way too light in texture to hold up as a diaper bag. Does anyone have a recipe that is a dense yellow cake that can stand up to being carved and stacked.. Thanks much!

This is what I use for all of my carved cakes. I used to use the WASC recipe but like this better for carving.
