I made some BC icing (using Indydei's recipe) about 2.5 weeks agao. Monday would be three weeks. I used milk as the recipe says and it's literally be in the fridge the entire time. Haven't taken it out since I put it in there. It's been in a air tight container.

So is it still good? It taste perfectly fine and is still stark white. How long does BC usually last?

TIA!!!

BTW it's not for a paid customer. I just want to make a cake and I usually just take them to work and don't want anyone to get sick.

Sounds good to me. If it was out on the counter I'd seriously question it even though everyone says that it's OK -I just don't like stuff left out. But in the fridge or freezer it should be fine.

I've used leftover BC icing that's been in the fridge for over a month and lived to tell the tale. As long as it's refrigerated, I think it should be fine.

Indydebi's BC keeps a long time, especially since you put it in the fridge. It will be fine to use.
