I am making fondant roses for a wedding cake this weekend and the fondant is too sticky and won't ruffle (when using thin shaping foam). I am using Satin Ice fondant for the first time. I have always used Wilton in the past. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Dust cornstarch on your work surface-(like flour & bread dough).Should help. If it gets to dry rub some shortening on.

It's best to use gumpaste, 50/50, or fondant with tylose added when making fondant--that way you can ruffle it thinner.
