I've got a question, how many people buy your icing from Sam's Club and how many of you make your own?

I've always made my own, but I've been seriously thinking about trying Sam's icing. What do y'all think???

99% make my own, 1% Sams Club Pre-made Red & Black because they are so hard to make in a hurry

Make my own. I will buy the pre-made red and black icing from my local cake supply store ... they come in the 1-pint containers (like you get cole slaw in from the deli).

I think I might do what a couple of you have said...buy my red and black. I have so much trouble with those and the black bleeding into the other colors.

Thanks for all fo your input!!

Icing is kind of a "signature" thing...people will grow to love whatever icing you have...so its sometimes good to have a homemade icing that will taste different than what everyone else out there offers...it keeps your customers coming back for more!

Make my own too. thumbs_up.gif Now with that said, if i could find some ready made stuff that is workable, tastes good, a reasonable price and in my area i would buy it in a heartbeat. So for now i make my own.
