I am using piping gel for a moat around a castle cake tomorrow. I've covered my board in fondant and have the moat area ready, should I put on the piping gel today or wait til tomorrow? does the piping gel set? Is it hard to tint piping gel? TIA

I would wait until tomorrow...it does set completely (you won't have any runny liquid)...and it's extremely easy to color.

After a day or do the gel will set and become rubbery so I would put it on tomorrow just before you deliver/take the cake.It is very easy to tint but you need very little..Like a pin prick

thanks guys, I thought after I wrote the question I should probably wait until after I put my cakes on the board so I don't mess it up. Thanks again!
