Whats the best way to attach a ribbon to a fondant covered cake? A ribbon around the base of the cake.

Hi, I use double sided sticky tape. First I use a dress makers pin to hold one end of the ribbon to the cake, then stick a little piece of sticky tape on that end of the ribbon. Take the ribbon around the cake and stick the other end of the ribbon on the tape. Hope it make sence. icon_smile.gif

Great! Thank you!
I wasn't sure if you used RI or some other kind of icing, but tape makes more sense!

That's ok! I tried RI but it didn't work. icon_smile.gif

you can use just a dab of buttercream or royal icing if you'd like, they all work!
