I have a batch of dry MMF, and I was wondering if food grade glycerine would work better than kneading crisco to regain pliability?

What do you think?

TIA!

If your MMF is dry, there is a good chance you crystallized your sugar while melting the marshmallows and often there is no getting it back once it has gone to that extent. You can try a little water, shortening, or glycerin first; however. If you are still struggling with dry, you should just start over. icon_sad.gif

I have found that microwaving repairs even the driest MMF, then you can add Crisco or glycerin if you like.
