I just saw directions on making one the other day: http://ohsugarcakes.blogspot.com/2009/03/candy-liner-for-giant-cupcake.html
Great link, I have the pan but never used it, always stumped about the bottom and how to decorate it. Might have to try this now. Thanks texas_rose
ohhhhh i love this - i wondered how the wrapper was done too
You can roll your fondant out in a long strip (as thick as you want) -
Then when you have the height of the strip you need and measured - using a knife and sturdy ruler - cut to size.
Roll the long strip up - as in a roll -
Starting on one side of the cake - slowly unravel the roll as you move around the cake -
when finished - use your thumb to smooth the indents of the cake .
I did it this way for a cake after cooking it in the Wilton BIG cupcake pan.
Worked a treat....i went slowly but it worked.
Wow! That cake by Pink Cake Box is amazing! Thanks for the instructions BlueHue!
