Hey Everyone,

Just want to check. I am doing a wedding cake for 125 people. I plan on doing a 14,12,10,8 and 6. This looks the best astetically. I think this is too much cake but I also dont want to be short either.

Any suggestions Thanks

Sylvia

6-8-10-12 serves 95-118, depending on what serving cahrt you're using, NOT including the top tier. You'd probably be safe to make that size for 125 if you're serving the top. I wouldn't put the 14" on there, you'll end up with WAY too much.

I always estimate 80% of the number of guests attending (not invited) for the cake servings. 125 guests attending would be around 100 servings needed.

I don't know how much that would serve but I do know it is more that what you need.

If I were you, I would consult the couple.

If they want the 5th tier, you could offer to do a dummy tier to give the grandeur of the 5 tier.
