I'm donating some cookies for a benefit in a couple of weeks & am needing some ideas. I'm not wanting edible image b/c I have no printer.

I know there are tons out there where you have a square or round cookie to start & there's a scene or something piped on. i've pretty much scoured CC & there are some great ones but I'm not looking for holiday (since there's not one really close to Sept 17th). If you want to post holidays that's fine b/c I'm sure I'll be looking for ideas around the holidays too, just not using them this time. And looked yet again at Nancy's Fancy Cookies--which are marvelous

I'm sure you ladies can direct me to some sites or flikr albums or something. or give me themes to go for. I would like to stick to square & rounds though so I don't have to get out all my cookie cutters. And I can always use those as a back up. I just hate brain farts!

Are you going to use RI or fondant to cover the cookies?
What is the benefit for? Is there something related to the benefit (theme) that you could use for the cookies?

I was thinking maybe you could emboss a design on the fondant. Looks simple yet elegant. Or maybe you could get a stencil you like and paint it onto the RI/fondant (there's a video in the articles section showing you how to do it if you need it).

The majority of the cookie pics I've seen here have been theme related but I'll see what I can find.

For my "shape" cutters I usuall do something written on them, like "Have a nice day" "Thinking of you" etc....I think I have some in my pictures if you click on my user name. Love the ideas posted before me!
