Aug/Sept 2009 issue of ACD, on page 44 starts an article from Bronwen Weber.

It's titled Intermediate Airbrush Technique. I vote it will give me, the beginner a little confidence to just try.

It's a fun read and lets me know I don't have to be perfect immediately.

I'm still afraid, but no longer petrified!

Hey, AGS on Blanco and 1604 has airbrush classes. I haven't taken them because I don't have an airbrush yet icon_biggrin.gif but they might not be a bad idea.

It may be a few years before I can buy an airbrush, so I'll probably take the class when I actually get one. I promised my husband I wouldn't buy any more major cake tools until I have more storage space.
