What is the best tasting fondant and can you provide a recipe or location to purchase? I like the look that fondant creates, but do not like the taste of the pre-packaged wilton fondant. I am decorating a 3-tiered wedding cake in fondant, then will decorate with buttercream, but would like a good recipe for fondant. I've heard of marshmallow fondant, what's that like? Thanks!!!

For premade I like using Satin Ice. For homemade I like using MFF (Michele Foster Fondant). Her recipe is in the recipe section. My kids like MMF so I have made that as well. Wilton sucks for taste and other than Wilton I have only tried Satin Ice.

i love mff. Very easy to make and still tastes like marshmallow...uses gelatin and powdered sugar which is same ingredients in marshmalllows.

I like Satin Ice also. I only use wilton when I am making figures or plaques. People are going to eat those...lol
