Thank you xstitcher and cylstrial. I was unaware fondant, buttercream and royal icing could last that long! Thanks again.
This is a really wonderful space, both the lobby and the kitchen. May you make many beautiful cakes and spend many, many happy hours here.
Congratulations! It looks awesome and I'm so jealous of your great deals on equipment.
Congratulations Jill!
What state are you in?
Did you get a big juice loan to buy all that equipment??? Oh my God 50K just for the fridge. Can't believe. And here I am discussing about spending or not spending the $175 the agaby leveler costs.
So happy for you Jill!!!
I think she said the fridge was fifty dollars, not fifty thousand. I'm sitting here thinking what fantastic luck she had with that ! Anyway, another toast to Jill on her new cake shop! But I know what you mean about the Agbay, IsaSW, I've been doing a little agonizing myself over that.
Edited once because I forgot to finish the message.
No, the fridges was $50.00, not $50,00.00!!! As in one fifty-dollar bill for both fridges!!!! As a funny side note, one was full of beer and wine, and they came with the fridge They have since been properly disposed of
While I did receive a loan to assist with the buildout and equipment, we spent way more on the "little things" than we did on the big stuff. For example, you can't very well buy used cleaning chemicals, and man those are expensive! Also, all the little office equip stuff and some of the shelving really added up.
I am actually going to try to order the agbay this week!
50 dollars
Can't believe it! I guess I should start praying, I need a bun pan rack, my space it's so small, I really need one of those.
Let me know how the Agbay leveler works for you. Leahs says she can't live with out it. Maybe for christmas.
Thanks Marianna for the right number, I was reading so fast, I thought she said 50k.
Wow! How beautiful, so how much did you pay for all your equipment if you don't mind? Any advice I will be opening one in a couple of months, and I need to find equipment myself. Any help is appreciated.
