I swear I'm going to use up my whole bottle of orange color trying to get my small amount of icing to look like a basketball! I've used orange and some brown to try to darken it... Any tips on how to make my icing color more of a basketball orange, opposed to a peachy orange? Thanks!

You might want to check out this thread about colour mixing charts. There's a few of them, you'll have to go thru the pages to find them.

I would try adding some red to the orange you already have. You said you already added some brown and remember that some of these darker colours will darken overnight too.
