I live in New Orleans, La and am a small, home cake decorator. Is there anywhere in New Orleans that sells 5 lb portions of colored (or really any brand other than Wilton) fondant? I like the variety of techniques and smoothness that fondant give me, but I CAN'T stand the taste and have been told that Wilton is the least tasty brand. Any advice would help. Thanks.

I live in Metairie, right outside of New Orleans. You can get colored Satin Ice fondant in the 5 lb. pails at Koerner on Jefferson Hwy. I think they are about $20. It is a food supplier, but they are open to the public.
