Hello fellow cake makers. I am an ameture cake maker but can still make a pretty good lookin cake. My boyfriend is turning eighteen in a week or so and I need to come up with a theme for his birthday cake. He's kinda into baseball but idk if that would be too young of a theme. He said I should incorporate him and me in it but I don't want it to be weird. So please help! Thanks. icon_surprised.gif

Is he into video games? My son just turned 18 and I made him an X-Box 360 cake. (Boy, I sure feel old!)

I am doing a groom cake for my friend's soon to be hubby. I am brand new too but it is turning out pretty cute! I am just making a 8" round to look like a plot of grass and cutting a bread loaf sized cake in half (stacking the halves) and trimming it round to make it look like a golf ball to put on the top.

You could to the same with a baseball and put "______ (heart) ______" on the ball or even an edible image of you two to incorporate his idea. If you do the colors right it looks realistic vs kid-ish.
