I need a good recipe for buttercream not to sweet but it has to be able to crust for a wedding cake so when the teirs are removed the frosting doesnt go with the boards anyone have any really good recipes? Also what do you cover your boards with i usually use aluminum foil but for a wedding i dont think so so im going to use wax paper is that a good idea or is there something else i should use? Please help
i only use smbc... it doesnt crust, but it is fine when you take off the tiers... just use 2 sheets of wax paper between each tier... hth as for reg ps bettercream, i heard sugar shacks was one oft he best!
Thank you CakeandDazzle. I have never heard of the SMBC can you tell me the recipe? Also do you know how i can get the sugarshack recipe? Thank you again i will try the 2 layers of wax paper and see if that solves my problem.
