I have had trouble with the icing on the last two cakes I have made. the day after they are made small dots of color start to show through. For example, on grey golf clubs I had dots and lines of black showing through. Please help! What am I doing wrong?

What brand of color are you using? I had that kind of trouble when I was using Wilton colors, but haven't had a problem since I switched to Americolor.
